A delightful journey to discover the aperitif, letting yourself be guided by the suggestions of Gabriele D'Annunzio and Ennio Flaiano, from Pescara like the author, to fully savor the taste of this "prelude to imminent pleasure".
An entirely Italian rite that must be celebrated according to a precise liturgy, the aperitif is a superfluous luxury that has become increasingly democratic from the 1980s onwards. The foundation of fox dates back to that period, whose mission is to give emotions and unforgettable moments through the pleasure of the aperitif: from discovery to discovery, in search of new products to offer to a niche and therefore very demanding market, Antonio Pavone illustrates its culture of absolute quality, in search of maximum customer gratification.
From his peasant childhood to college, from his studies and first work experiences to the founding of Fox, Antonio reveals to us all the secrets of peanuts and its surroundings up to "let's make an aperitif", his latest, very successful idea to bring the perfect aperitif at home and in all those places where it is not possible to have a real bar.
In retracing Fox's exploits, Antonio talks about experiences, adventures, risks, some inevitable mistakes and consequent disappointment which, far from stopping him, actually encouraged him to do better and better together with his team: because a company belongs to those who work there, it is made of flesh and blood, it is alive to the extent that one commits oneself with passion and dedication.
To be served and consumed together with the aperitif, Fox's savory snacks are the perfect food pairing, designed to gratify the palate and make each sip enjoy more and better,
After all, it doesn't take much to be happy!
ANTONIO PAVONE
Antonio Pavone (born in Penne, province of Pescara in 1963) is the founder of Fox Nut&Snack, dedicated supplier of peanuts, chips and snacks for the aperitif. Together with his brother Massimo, alongside him in this adventure that has now lasted more than thirty years, he has made Fox become a "stone in the shoe" for the major competitors in this very special and wonderfully superfluous market sector. He and Fox, pioneers of peanuts, are today ambassadors of the Italian aperitif in the world.
